The Dallas Wings have waived guard/forward Kaila Charles, the team officially announced today.
The 6-foot-1 wing appeared in 11 games for Dallas this season, averaging 4.9 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Charles, known for her defensive toughness and ability to attack the rim, had been a key rotational piece during a turbulent early stretch of the Wings’ 2025 campaign, marked by injuries and player absences.
This move comes as Dallas continues to reshape its roster amid Commissioner’s Cup play and the ongoing absence of center Teaira McCowan (national team obligations), along with multiple injury setbacks across the lineup.
The Wings (1-11) return to action Tuesday night at home against the Golden State Valkyries. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT at College Park Center.
