Marcus Semien enters tonight’s contest riding a six-game hitting streak and finding a groove at the plate. While his overall average sits at .237, Semien has turned it up recently, hitting .302 over his last 10 games with two doubles, a triple, a home run, and six RBIs. He’s also added four walks in that stretch, showing improved plate discipline.
Josh Smith continues to quietly lead Texas in batting average at .281. While not a power threat (he ranks 157th in MLB home runs), his consistency near the top of the order has helped spark the Rangers’ offense in recent weeks.
Slugger Adolis García remains the primary run producer for Texas with a team-best 45 RBIs. Meanwhile, Corey Seager—despite a slower start to the season—is showing signs of life. The All-Star shortstop is riding a six-game hit streak and has blasted four home runs in his last 10 games, while drawing eight walks and driving in nine runs.

Baltimore arrives with its own offensive firepower led by Gunnar Henderson, who is slashing .277 with 15 doubles, three triples, 10 home runs, and 31 walks. Henderson ranks 92nd in the majors in home runs and brings reliable extra-base potential to the heart of the Orioles’ lineup.
Ryan O’Hearn has been the team’s most consistent hitter, leading the Orioles with a .295 batting average. He’s added 11 home runs, ranking 71st in the majors in that category, and sits at 141st in RBI.
