FRISCO, Texas (February 9, 2026) — The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, unveiled their 2026 promotional schedule Monday, offering fans an expansive slate of theme nights, giveaways, fireworks shows, and family-focused entertainment across all 69 home games at Riders Field.
The 2026 calendar is highlighted by 21 postgame fireworks displays, multiple bobblehead giveaways, guest appearances, and themed nights designed to appeal to fans of all ages. Single-game tickets are available now, with the full promotional schedule accessible online.
The RoughRiders’ season opens with Opening Day presented by Globe Life on Tuesday, April 7, setting the stage for an action-packed Opening Week and Opening Weekend from April 10–12. Fireworks will follow the Opening Day contest, as well as the Friday night matchup on April 10, continuing one of the franchise’s most popular traditions.
Throwback Sundays return as a cornerstone of the promotional lineup, beginning April 12 with an Elvis Andrus Bobblehead Giveaway presented by Classic Chevrolet of Grapevine. That collectible will pair with the Ian Kinsler Bobblehead Giveaway on May 24 during Throwback Sunday No. 2, presented by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. The nostalgic theme continues on August 2 with a Chris Davis Bobble Card Giveaway, accompanied by postgame fireworks.
One of the marquee stretches of the summer comes in early July, as the RoughRiders celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a full week of home games. Festivities begin Friday, July 3, with a Wyatt Langford “Florida Man” Bobblehead Giveaway presented by Peak Roofing & Construction, followed by the Independence Day Celebration presented by Xochitl on July 4. Each night of Stars & Stripes Weekend will conclude with a fireworks spectacular, culminating with Moana Night on July 5.
Family-friendly entertainment remains a focal point throughout the season. Popular character nights include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night on April 26, Toy Story Night on June 7, Moana Night on July 5, and Paw Patrol Night on August 15, featuring appearances by Marshall and Rubble. Many of these dates are paired with Kids Sunday Funday or Kids Run the Bases promotions presented by Raising Cane’s, reinforcing the RoughRiders’ commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere for families.
In addition to youth-oriented events, the RoughRiders will host several specialty and nostalgia-themed nights. Harry Potter Night arrives on July 18 with special themed uniforms and Hogwarts House ticket packs, while Star Wars Night follows on July 31, complete with character appearances and themed entertainment. Backyard Baseball Night on May 22 and Space Jam Night on July 19 further blend pop culture with the ballpark experience.
Local sports pride also takes center stage in 2026, as the RoughRiders celebrate four Dallas-area teams. Dallas Wings Night is scheduled for April 24, Texas Rangers Night on May 23, Dallas Mavericks Night on September 4, and Dallas Stars Night on September 5. Each event will feature themed elements, ticket packages, and, on select nights, postgame fireworks or Kids Run the Bases opportunities.
Rounding out the schedule is Brain Rot Awareness Night on August 23, featuring a RoughRiders Chain Giveaway at the gates, postgame fireworks, and Kids Sunday Funday programming.
With a blend of tradition, innovation, and community engagement, the Frisco RoughRiders’ 2026 promotional schedule underscores the organization’s commitment to delivering memorable experiences both on and off the field. As Opening Day approaches, Riders Field once again positions itself as one of the premier destinations for family entertainment and Minor League Baseball in North Texas.
