On Friday, our Frisco RoughRiders defeated the Amarillo Sod Poodles by a score of 12-6. Frisco took an early 8-0 lead in the first inning, thanks to runs from Dustin Harris, Chris Seise, Jax Biggers, and Luisangel Acuña. The team continued to add runs throughout the game, with Scott Kapers hitting a two-run home run in the second inning and the team scoring an additional two runs in the fourth inning.

Luisangel Acuña has been one of the standout performers for Frisco this season, hitting .329 with six doubles and 28 hits. The RoughRiders bullpen has also performed well, with Grant Wolfram leading the way with six scoreless outings.

Frisco has excelled with the bases loaded this season, leading the league with 29 RBIs and hitting four grand slams. The team has also been solid on defense, committing just eight errors in 19 games.

The RoughRiders have a +38 run differential through 19 games, the best in the Texas League. Outfielder Evan Carter has been a consistent performer, reaching safely in 15 of his 16 games and batting .323 with four home runs, 18 walks, and 18 RBIs.
