STWF Sports | FRISCO, Texas | August 4, 2026 — The Frisco RoughRiders have officially unveiled their 2027 schedule, giving fans an early look at another full summer of Texas League baseball at Riders Field.
Exciting Matchups for the Frisco RoughRiders in 2027
The Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers is scheduled to play 138 games next season, including 69 home dates in Frisco. The RoughRiders will open the 2027 campaign on the road before returning home for their first series at Riders Field from April 6-11 against the Corpus Christi Hooks, the Double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros.
The home schedule will feature 12 weekends at Riders Field, stretching from early April through the second week of September. Frisco is slated to host two home weekends in most months, with June featuring three weekend series and September featuring one.
The calendar also includes several family-friendly dates that should draw added attention.
Frisco will be home on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9, and Father’s Day, Sunday, June 20. Those two dates provide the organization with marquee weekend opportunities as it continues to build around its combination of baseball and entertainment at Riders Field.
June will be especially busy.
For the only time during the 2027 season, the RoughRiders will play consecutive home series. Frisco will host the San Antonio Missions, the Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, from June 15-20 before welcoming the Midland RockHounds, affiliated with the Athletics, from June 22-27.
That stretch will give fans nearly two straight weeks of baseball in Frisco and should represent one of the busiest portions of the home schedule.
Corpus Christi will make two trips to Riders Field during the season. In addition to opening Frisco’s home slate in April, the Hooks will return for a six-game series from June 1-6.
The 2027 All-Star Break is scheduled for July 12-15, providing a midseason pause before the RoughRiders begin their push through the second half.
Frisco’s schedule will also feature an interesting contrast between the beginning and end of the year. The club will start the season away from home but will finish the regular-season schedule at Riders Field against South Division opponent Amarillo, the Double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Ending the year in Frisco could provide additional significance if postseason positioning remains unsettled entering the final series.
The RoughRiders have established Riders Field as one of the Texas League’s most recognizable destinations, and the 69-game home slate provides another full calendar of opportunities for fans across North Texas to see Rangers prospects and future major leaguers throughout the season.
Hospitality planning for 2027 is already underway. Fans and businesses who purchased hospitality experiences with the RoughRiders in 2026 can begin making reservations by contacting their account representative. Those interested in securing a hospitality space for next season can also begin exploring available options.
The schedule announcement comes as Frisco continues its 2026 campaign and prepares for another season as a key developmental stop within the Rangers organization.
With 12 home weekends, holiday games, consecutive June series and a home finale against Amarillo, the 2027 schedule offers a mix of divisional matchups and notable dates throughout the year.
For RoughRiders fans, the countdown to another season at Riders Field has officially begun.
