STWF Sports| FRISCO, Texas| October 20, 2026 — FC Dallas midfielder Kaick Ferreira has earned recognition as one of Major League Soccer’ top young talents, landing at No. 22 on the 2026 MLS 22 Under 22 list.
The annual ranking highlights the league’s best players age 21 and under, with selections determined by an expert panel that includes MLS coaches, general managers, sporting directors, Apple TV talent and select media members.
Kaick’s inclusion continues FC Dallas’ long-standing tradition of developing young players and giving them meaningful opportunities at the first-team level.
The Brazilian midfielder has appeared in 29 matches for Dallas this season, scoring four goals, the third-highest total on the team.
His latest goal came on Oct. 14, when he scored the game-winner in FC Dallas’ 1-0 home victory over Seattle Sounders FC, a result that helped Dallas clinch a spot in the Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs.
Kaick also earned a place on the MLS Team of the Matchday 12 bench earlier in the year after scoring the deciding goal against Real Salt Lake on May 9.
Growth Continues in Dallas
FC Dallas Chief Soccer Officer André Zanotta praised Kaick’s development and consistency since arriving in North Texas.
“Kaick has continued to develop and show his quality since joining FC Dallas,” Zanotta said. “He has become an important player for us, and his ability to impact games at his age is something that makes this recognition well deserved.”
Zanotta also noted that the club believes Kaick still has significant room to grow as he continues gaining experience in MLS.
Kaick joined FC Dallas in March 2025 following a transfer from Brazilian club Grêmio.
During his first season with Dallas, he made 27 appearances, logged 1,668 minutes and scored two goals. His first came against St. Louis CITY SC on July 19, 2025, before he added another on Decision Day against Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
This season, his role has continued to expand.
Brazilian Development Path
Before joining Dallas, Kaick spent much of his development years with Grêmio’s U-20 team, where he recorded three goals in 33 appearances from 2022-24.
He also helped Grêmio win the 2023 Campeonato Gaúcho U-20 title.
Kaick made his senior-team debut for Grêmio on Feb. 25, 2025, entering in the 82nd minute against Ypiranga FC in Campeonato Gaúcho play.
Shortly afterward, he made the move to FC Dallas and began carving out a larger role in MLS.
FC Dallas Adds Another Young Talent to the List
Kaick becomes the latest FC Dallas player to earn recognition on the league’s young-player rankings.
The club has a strong history on the list, including several former No. 1 selections.
Alan Velasco ranked first in 2023, while Jesús Ferreira topped the list in 2022 and Ricardo Pepi did the same in 2021.
Earlier versions of the ranking, then known as 24 Under 24, also featured FC Dallas standouts such as Kellyn Acosta, Fabian Castillo and Brek Shea.
The 2026 class features players from 16 MLS clubs, with an average age of approximately 20. To qualify, players had to be 21 or younger before Decision Day on Nov. 7.
For FC Dallas, Kaick’s selection is another reminder of the club’s continued investment in young talent.
At just 21, he has already become a meaningful contributor for a playoff-bound side and now carries league-wide recognition into the final stretch of the season.
For Dallas, the expectation is that his best football is still ahead of him.
