RENEGADES WELCOME NEARLY 400 YOUNG ATHLETES FOR UFL YOUTH CLINIC AT CHOCTAW STADIUM

ARLINGTON, Texas — June 24, 2025 — A wave of energy and excitement swept across Choctaw Stadium on Tuesday as nearly 400 young athletes took the field for a full day of football instruction, mentorship, and inspiration during the Arlington Renegades’ free youth football clinic — part of a larger United Football League (UFL) initiative aimed at empowering the next generation through sport.

The event featured two specialized sessions: a flag football clinic for students in grades 5–12 and a skills development camp tailored for grades 7–12. Both were designed to hone fundamental football techniques, including speed, agility, and position-specific mechanics. Campers received hands-on guidance from UFL coaches, Renegades personnel, and players representing multiple teams across the league.

Among the league professionals on hand were Renegades standouts Donald Payne, Ikenna Enechukwu, Alex Akingbulu, and Seth Green — the latter recently signed by the NFL’s New Orleans Saints and nominated for UFL Sportsman of the Year honors. Their message was clear: football is more than a game — it’s a platform for mentorship, community, and growth.

“I’m super excited to have all the kids out here and to watch them improve and show their love for the sport,” said Green. “Hopefully we can share what we’ve learned from our own mentors and coaches to help them chase their dreams. It’s about giving back what’s been given to us.”

The event drew support from UFL league leadership, including Executive VP of Football Operations Daryl Johnston and VP David Dykeman, both of whom emphasized the league’s dedication to community outreach and youth engagement.

“This is a great opportunity to engage across all our UFL markets,” said Dykeman. “But with Arlington being our hub and so important to the league, we’re especially proud to host this camp here. Having six players from different teams join us shows the level of dedication we have to building connections in our communities.”

UFL Manager of Player Administration Raphael Chierchio echoed that sentiment, noting the high turnout from both campers and players.

“So many players and coaches have gone out of their way to spend their offseason investing in the kids and families that have supported our league. That’s what makes this so special.”

Every participant walked away with a commemorative Renegades camp t-shirt and the once-in-a-lifetime experience of practicing on the very field where the defending UFL champions play their home games.

The Arlington clinic marks just one of several youth-focused events taking place across UFL cities this offseason, further cementing the league’s commitment to building football from the grassroots up. Whether through mentorship, hands-on coaching, or shared passion for the game, the Renegades’ clinic proved that community and connection remain central to the UFL’s mission.
