Tyreek Hill Facing Domestic Violence Charges
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is facing serious allegations from his estranged wife, Keeta Vaccaro, who claims in divorce filings that he committed multiple acts of domestic violence—accusations Hill has strongly denied.
Court documents obtained by TMZ state that Vaccaro alleges eight separate incidents of abuse, the first reportedly occurring in January 2024, just two months after the couple married. Hill’s attorney dismissed the claims in a statement Monday, calling them a “shakedown” and an effort to create negative publicity for the star player.
As of Tuesday morning, Hill had not been criminally charged, and it was unclear whether law enforcement was actively investigating the allegations. Vaccaro filed for divorce on April 8, a day after police responded to a reported domestic dispute between the two.
Hill, 31, is in the second year of a restructured three-year, $90 million contract with Miami. Since joining the Dolphins in 2022, he has been involved in several off-field controversies. In September 2024, he was detained by Miami-Dade police for speeding and reckless driving just hours before the Dolphins’ season opener. In June 2023, he was involved in a physical altercation with an employee at Haulover Marina, and he is also facing a lawsuit alleging he broke a social media influencer’s leg that same month.
