UFL Wins Hearts Off the Field With Huge Donation to Arlington Nonprofit

STWF Sports |ARLINGTON, Texas | (November 11, 2025) — The United Football League (UFL) has extended its community impact beyond the gridiron with a major act of generosity. The league donated six truckloads of official team and league apparel to Mission Arlington, a nonprofit organization that provides support to local families and veterans in need.

The contribution, part of the UFL’s “United by Giving” initiative, aims to bring warmth and care to hundreds of Arlington residents while paying tribute to those who serve.

A Partnership with Purpose

The donation effort, conducted in partnership with All My Sons Moving Company, began late last week and concluded Tuesday morning outside UFL headquarters in the heart of Arlington’s Entertainment District. Players, coaches, and league staff came together to help load boxes of athletic apparel, sneakers, and football gear onto trucks bound for Mission Arlington’s distribution center.

In total, the UFL’s contribution will help more than 350 families living in Mission Arlington’s housing communities, as well as countless other families and veterans who rely on the organization’s services each week.

“The donation that the United Football League has given us has never been this good,” said Miss Tilly Burgin, Executive Director of Mission Arlington. “We were able to clothe everyone—from the youngest to the oldest—among the families we serve. We are thankful for this donation, and we see it as a tremendous blessing. We are so grateful for what the UFL has provided.”

For the UFL, headquartered in Arlington, the gesture represents more than just a delivery — it’s a continuation of the league’s effort to embed itself into the community that hosts its operations and one of its flagship franchises, the Arlington Renegades.

Community Connection at the Core

Since relocating its league offices to Arlington, the UFL has emphasized community involvement as a pillar of its brand identity. The “United by Giving” program, launched earlier this year, connects players, teams, and staff with local outreach organizations to promote unity, service, and social impact across Texas and beyond.

UFL representatives said the league’s goal is to ensure that its presence in Arlington is felt year-round — not just during the spring football season.

“The city of Arlington is all about unity,” Burgin added. “What the United Football League has done is a reflection of who we are as a community. Their partnership helps bring us together — because together, we’re able to share gifts of love. That’s what this city represents, and what the league represents. Our purpose is the same.”

The heartfelt remarks from Burgin captured the spirit of the collaboration: professional sports using their platform to make a tangible difference in the local community.

Players, Staff, and Fans All Involved

League staff and players arrived early Tuesday morning to assist in the effort — sorting, lifting, and loading pallets of apparel into moving trucks under the cool North Texas sky. The apparel included official UFL-branded gear, team uniforms, and athletic footwear, ensuring that each family receiving assistance would have access to high-quality, durable items as the winter months approach.

For many players, the initiative was a chance to connect with the Arlington community off the field — a sentiment echoed by several Renegades athletes who volunteered their time to help load the final deliveries.

One team official described the scene as “a unifying moment,” adding that the event “embodied everything the league stands for — teamwork, compassion, and service.”

UFL Strengthening Its Arlington Roots

The UFL’s headquarters houses more than 400 players, coaches, and staff during each spring season, making it one of the most visible sports entities in the city. By partnering with Mission Arlington — a cornerstone of community outreach in the region — the league continues to solidify its commitment to the city that has embraced it as a key part of its sports landscape.

As the league prepares for the upcoming 2026 season, efforts like “United by Giving” reinforce that the UFL’s impact stretches far beyond the football field.

With six truckloads of gear now distributed and hundreds of local families supported, the message from Arlington’s newest major sports league is clear: the UFL is here to play for more than just wins — it’s here to make a difference.
