No. 5 LSU Tigers Make History — 7th Straight 100-Point Game
The No. 5 LSU Tigers women’s basketball team shattered an NCAA record Friday night, pouring in 113–53 over the Marist Red Foxes at the Paradise Jam Tournament — marking their seventh consecutive game scoring 100 or more points.
LSU improved to 7–0 for the season. Seven players hit double figures: ZaKiyah Johnson led with 19 points; reserve Kate Koval delivered a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double; while Flau’Jae Johnson and Amiya Joyner added 16 apiece. Supporting contributions came from MiLaysia Fulwiley, Grace Knox, and Jada Richard, each scoring 11.
The basket that sealed the record was a layup by Flau’Jae Johnson with just over six minutes left in the fourth quarter, putting LSU ahead 101–40.
Coach Kim Mulkey used her full roster — all 11 players scored. The team shot 53.4 % from the field (47 of 88) and made 15 of 18 free throws. Their blend of offensive firepower and depth helped build a blowout from the start.
With this dominant win, the Tigers advanced to the Reef Division championship game of Paradise Jam — cementing one of the most impressive offensive streaks in women’s college basketball history.
