Arlington, TX (June 26, 2025) — The Dallas Wings have officially sold out Friday night’s highly anticipated matchup against the Indiana Fever at American Airlines Center, the team announced Thursday. The game, presented by Wings partner Albert, will feature the theme “A Night In Dallas” and is set to tip off at 6:30 p.m. CT with national coverage on ION.
Friday’s clash is arguably the most hyped WNBA regular season game of the year, marking the first professional meeting between recent No. 1 overall draft picks Paige Bueckers (Dallas) and Caitlin Clark (Indiana). The former college superstars have reignited national interest in the league, and their head-to-head battle on one of the WNBA’s biggest stages is expected to deliver fireworks.
To match the energy inside the arena, the Wings are launching their first-ever “Party on PNC Plaza” — a pregame fan experience running from 3:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. CT. The celebration will include a mini sport court, an interactive photo booth mural, a Biergarten, and live music from Dallas’ own DJ Don Perryon. Fans are encouraged to embrace the Western flair of the evening and dress in their best “Wings Western” attire to celebrate the night in true Texas style.
Friday’s sold-out game is the fifth capacity crowd of the 2025 season for the Wings and the fourth in regular season play. Previous sellouts include:
- The preseason opener vs. Toyota Antelopes (May 10)
- Season opener vs. Minnesota Lynx (May 16)
- Matchup with the Chicago Sky (May 31)
- This past Tuesday’s victory over the Atlanta Dream (June 24)
The Wings (4-12) enter the marquee matchup riding a wave of momentum, having won three of their last four. Meanwhile, Clark and the Fever (8-8) look to bounce back after recent close contests as they continue their push up the Eastern Conference standings.
With downtown Dallas set to buzz and all eyes on the future of women’s basketball, Friday’s sold-out clash promises to be a landmark night for the WNBA, the city of Dallas, and the next generation of basketball stars.
