STWF Sports | ARLINGTON, Texas | Aug. 7, 2026 — The Dallas Wings continued to strengthen their front office Thursday, announcing the additions of Jordyn Turner as Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer and Caitlin Morgan as Vice President and General Counsel.
Turner is scheduled to begin with the organization on Aug. 10, while Morgan will officially join the Wings on Aug. 17. Both executives will report directly to CEO and Managing Partner Greg Bibb and serve on the franchise’s senior leadership team.
The hires come at a significant moment for the organization as the Wings prepare for their broader transition to Dallas and continue expanding their business operations.
Future Plans for the Dallas Wings
“The needs of our business continue to evolve and grow, with our upcoming move to Dallas the catalyst for much of that development,” Bibb said. “Jordyn Turner and Caitlin Morgan will be key additions to our senior leadership team as we move into a new era of Dallas Wings basketball.”
Turner arrives in Dallas after serving as Senior Manager of Enterprise Strategy at Fanatics, where she worked on several of the company’s major growth initiatives. Her responsibilities included enterprise partnerships, expansion into new markets and product development.
She also helped design operating structures around significant corporate partnerships, with responsibilities that included executive reporting, risk management and identifying additional business opportunities.
Before joining Fanatics, Turner spent six years with Bain & Company, advising executive teams on strategy, operations, mergers and acquisitions and organizational effectiveness.
Her background also includes experience on the basketball court. Turner earned her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, where she played for the women’s basketball program. She later earned a Master’s in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University in Beijing and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
With the Wings, Turner will focus on creating alignment across departments while identifying and prioritizing business opportunities that can accelerate the organization’s growth. She will also assist Bibb in matters involving the WNBA and investor relations.
Morgan brings an extensive legal background in professional sports and entertainment.
She joins the Wings after serving as Assistant General Counsel for the Kansas City Current of the NWSL. In that role, Morgan advised ownership and business leaders on matters involving team operations, league issues, stadium development, youth programs, expansion and intellectual property.
Morgan also handled negotiations and drafting for sponsorship, broadcasting, licensing and employment agreements.
Before her time with the Current, she was a partner at DLA Piper and Polsinelli, representing sports organizations and media rights holders across the sports and entertainment industries.
Morgan earned her undergraduate degree from York University in Toronto before graduating from Albany Law School in New York.
As the Wings’ chief legal advisor, Morgan will oversee the franchise’s legal function and provide counsel on business and operational decisions. Her responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with WNBA rules, applicable laws, contractual obligations and governance standards.
The appointments add another layer to the organizational changes taking place as Dallas prepares for its future.
The Wings recently announced plans to play their entire 2027 home schedule at American Airlines Center as the franchise continues its relocation process. The organization is also developing a new performance center in Dallas and preparing for its eventual move into a renovated Dallas Memorial Auditorium.
Those projects bring increased demands across strategy, partnerships, legal operations and organizational planning.
Turner’s hiring was facilitated by Excel Search & Advisory, while Morgan was selected through an internal process.
For the Wings, the additions represent another investment in infrastructure away from the court as the franchise prepares for a new chapter in Dallas. With Turner overseeing strategic growth and Morgan leading legal operations, the organization continues to build a leadership structure designed to support its expanding footprint in North Texas.
