STWF Sports | ARLINGTON, Texas | October 24, 2026 — Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers added another major honor to her growing résumé Friday, earning a spot on the 2026 All-WNBA Second Team.
The selection marks Bueckers’ second consecutive All-WNBA honor, continuing a remarkable start to her professional career. The 2025 No. 1 overall draft pick was also voted a WNBA All-Star starter this season and previously earned Associated Press All-WNBA Second Team recognition.
Bueckers started 42 regular-season games for Dallas and led the Wings in both scoring and assists, averaging 20.9 points and 5.9 assists per game. She also contributed 4.1 rebounds and 1.0 steal per contest.
Her efficiency stood out just as much as her production.
Bueckers was the only player in the league to shoot at least 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from three-point range and 87 percent from the free-throw line, finishing the season at .512/.410/.871.
She was also one of only two players in the WNBA to average at least 20 points and five assists per game.
Record-Setting Second Season
Bueckers continued rewriting league and franchise records throughout 2026.
She set a WNBA record for the most points scored through a player’s first two seasons with 1,570 and became the fastest player in league history to reach 1,000 career points and 250 assists, accomplishing the feat in just 52 games.
At the franchise level, she established Wings single-season records for points with 878, assists with 247, field goals made with 335, games with at least 10 points with 40 and games with at least 15 points with 37.
Those numbers placed her among the league’s elite.
Bueckers finished fifth in scoring, fourth in total points, eighth in assists per game and seventh in total assists.
She also led the WNBA with seven games of at least 25 points, five rebounds and five assists.
Her 335 field goals made rank fourth in WNBA single-season history, while her 878 points rank 10th all-time for a single season.
The Rise of Paige Bueckers in the WNBA
Postseason Impact
Bueckers also helped guide Dallas back to the postseason for the first time since 2023.
Across three playoff games, she averaged 16.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.7 blocks per game.
In her postseason debut on Sept. 27 at Golden State, Bueckers scored 21 points while shooting 9-of-10 from the field, finishing one point shy of the Wings’ franchise record for points in a playoff debut.
She later set another franchise postseason mark on Oct. 2, going 10-for-10 from the free-throw line against Golden State.
Joining Rare Franchise Company
With this year’s selection, Bueckers becomes just the third player in Wings history to earn multiple All-WNBA honors.
She is also the first player since Tina Charles in 2010-11 to begin her WNBA career with back-to-back All-WNBA selections.
For Dallas, the honor is another reflection of how quickly Bueckers has become the centerpiece of the franchise.
For Bueckers, it confirms what the numbers already showed in 2026: her second season was not simply a strong follow-up to an impressive rookie campaign. It was another historic step in what is already becoming one of the most accomplished starts to a WNBA career.
