STWF Sports | FRISCO, Texas | May 8, 2026 — FC Dallas and the City of Frisco officially announced plans Thursday for the FC Dallas Soccer Celebration, a free 34-day fan festival experience designed to transform downtown Frisco into one of North Texas’ premier destinations during the FIFA World Cup 2026™ this summer.
The large-scale community event will take place at Simpson Plaza, directly in front of Frisco City Hall and adjacent to Toyota Stadium and the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
Organizers say the FC Dallas Soccer Celebration will offer fans a family-friendly gathering space featuring live FIFA World Cup match watch parties, entertainment, local food vendors, interactive fan experiences, giveaways and national team-themed programming throughout the tournament.
The event is expected to become one of the region’s largest soccer-centered public activations during the World Cup.
Celebrating FC Dallas: A Community Event
While attendance will remain free, fans will still need tickets for entry, with additional ticketing details expected to be announced in the coming days.
The 34-day schedule will include live viewings of FIFA World Cup matches on large-scale screens throughout Simpson Plaza, creating a festival atmosphere in the heart of Frisco as North Texas prepares to become one of the central hubs for soccer activity in the United States.
Organizers emphasized the importance of creating a safe and accessible gathering place for both local residents and visitors traveling into the area during the tournament.
To help accommodate Texas summer conditions, the event site will include tented viewing areas, fans and misting stations throughout the plaza to provide relief for attendees while maintaining a high-energy outdoor atmosphere.
“FC Dallas is thrilled to work with the City of Frisco to bring the FC Dallas Soccer Celebration to life for our local community,” said Megan Miller, FC Dallas Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. “This celebration will showcase the passion for soccer that defines our city and give fans of all ages a place to unite, celebrate and experience the global game together.”
One of the more ambitious aspects of the event involves direct connections to several participating FIFA World Cup national teams.
According to FC Dallas, some of the world’s most recognizable national programs will participate in special activations, merchandise experiences and appearances throughout the celebration. Specific details regarding teams and appearances are expected to be finalized and announced later this spring.
The FC Dallas Soccer Celebration will also place major emphasis on fan interaction.
A large Fan Activation Zone powered by associate partners including AdvoCare, Caterpillar, Children’s Health, H-E-B, He Gets Us, General Mills, Michelob ULTRA, SCHEELS and Takis will feature interactive games, product samples and country-versus-country themed activities designed to celebrate international soccer culture.
The nearby National Soccer Hall of Fame is also expected to play a major role throughout the event.
Visitors attending Soccer Celebration activities will have direct access to the museum experience, giving fans an opportunity to explore the history of American soccer while surrounded by one of the sport’s biggest global tournaments.
The announcement further reinforces Frisco’s growing reputation as one of the premier soccer destinations in the United States.
Already home to FC Dallas, Toyota Stadium, the National Soccer Hall of Fame and multiple elite youth soccer programs, Frisco continues positioning itself as a central figure in North America’s soccer infrastructure ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026™.
The city was also previously selected as an official FIFA World Cup Team Base Camp location, adding additional international significance to the region this summer.
Parking and transportation logistics are also being addressed as part of the planning process.
Organizers confirmed nearby parking options will be available, while city circulator transportation services will help attendees access the event site more efficiently throughout the tournament.
The FC Dallas Soccer Celebration will operate across 34 match days with five scheduled rest days built into the calendar.
Additional details regarding event hours, entertainment schedules, ticket registration, national team programming and special appearances are expected to be announced soon as Frisco prepares for what could become one of the largest soccer celebrations in Texas during FIFA World Cup 2026™.
