STWF Sports | ARLINGTON, Texas |June 20, 2026 — The Dallas Wings return to College Park Center on Saturday night looking to reset after a road loss and protect home court against a Chicago Sky team trying to find traction in the early part of the season.
Dallas enters the matchup at 9-6, while Chicago comes in at 4-10. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT, with the game airing nationally on CBS. Jordan Kent will handle play-by-play duties, with Isis Young as analyst and Tiffany Blackmon reporting from the sideline.
The Wings come home after falling 91-80 to the Golden State Valkyries on Wednesday night at Chase Center. Dallas opened that game with a strong first quarter but struggled through a decisive second period, getting outscored 27-7 before trying to battle back in the second half.
Arike Ogunbowale led Dallas with 21 points, marking her seventh 20-point game of the season. The veteran guard continues to be one of the Wings’ most reliable offensive options, especially when Dallas needs shot creation late in possessions.
The Dallas Wings: Key Players to Watch
Jessica Shepard added another strong performance inside, recording her 10th double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Shepard has been one of the league’s most consistent interior players and remains central to Dallas’ offensive flow because of her ability to rebound, pass and score around the basket.
Paige Bueckers finished with 15 points and eight assists against Golden State, continuing to provide both scoring and playmaking from the guard spot. Azzi Fudd added 10 points and tied the Wings’ single-game rookie record with five steals, showing once again that her impact is not limited to shooting. In just her second game in a Dallas uniform, Sug Sutton gave the Wings a boost with nine points on 3-of-4 shooting, including a perfect 2-of-2 from beyond the arc.
Despite those contributions, Dallas was hurt by rebounding and second-chance opportunities. The Wings were outrebounded 41-25 and were held without a second-chance point for the first time since 2021. That will be a clear area of emphasis against Chicago, especially with the Wings returning home on national television.
Dallas already owns a win over the Sky this season. The teams met on May 20 in Chicago, where the Wings earned a 99-89 victory at Wintrust Arena. That result marked Dallas’ first regular-season win over Chicago since May 15, 2024, and its first road victory at Wintrust Arena since Aug. 2, 2022.
Shepard was the story in that meeting, delivering the third triple-double in Wings team history with 18 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high 12 assists. Her passing helped Dallas break down the Sky defense and opened scoring lanes for the Wings’ guards. Bueckers tied for the game high with 24 points, while Ogunbowale added a season-high 23 points.
That balance will be important again Saturday. When Dallas has multiple creators involved and Shepard is operating as a hub, the Wings become much harder to defend. Bueckers’ ability to pressure defenses, Fudd’s spacing, Ogunbowale’s scoring and Shepard’s interior command give Dallas several ways to attack.
Chicago enters the matchup after a narrow 96-95 home loss to the New York Liberty on Wednesday. Despite the defeat, the Sky received major production from their rookie duo. Sydney Taylor scored 24 points, while Gabriella Jacquez added 22. Taylor has been especially impressive, totaling 54 points over her last two games — the most by an undrafted rookie over a two-game span in league history.
That scoring surge gives Chicago a dangerous young weapon entering Arlington. Dallas will need to stay disciplined defensively and avoid allowing the Sky’s rookies to settle into rhythm early.
For the Wings, Saturday represents a chance to respond quickly, regain momentum and continue building consistency at home. Dallas has shown it can beat elite teams when locked in, but the focus now is avoiding slow stretches and controlling the details.
Against a Chicago team with young confidence and nothing to lose, the Wings will need to bring energy from the opening tip. A strong start, better rebounding and clean execution could put Dallas in position to earn another important home win at College Park Center.
