Dallas improved to 16-8 while extending its winning streak to five games, the franchise’s longest since the 2023 regular season. The Wings also completed a 3-0 season sweep of Chicago, their first regular-season sweep of the Sky since the franchise was based in Tulsa in 2014.
Chicago dropped to 7-16.
The Rise of the Dallas Wings
The Wings trailed by as many as 10 points during the second half before outscoring the Sky 30-18 in the fourth quarter. It was Dallas’ third double-digit comeback against Chicago this season, tying the WNBA record for the most such victories over one opponent in a single year.
Dallas has now won eight games after entering the fourth quarter behind, matching Washington for the most fourth-quarter comeback victories in the league this season.
Paige Bueckers powered the turnaround with her fourth career double-double, finishing with a game-high 22 points, 11 assists, six rebounds and one block. She scored eight points in the final quarter and recorded her 14th 20-point performance of the season.
Bueckers has become one of the league’s most dangerous late-game scorers, leading the WNBA with 138 fourth-quarter points.
Jessica Shepard continued her outstanding campaign with 19 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Her league-leading 15th double-double tied the highest single-season total by a Wings player since the franchise relocated to North Texas.
It was also Shepard’s seventh game with at least 15 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, a league-best mark by a wide margin.
Li Yueru provided a major spark off the bench, recording season highs of 10 points and 10 rebounds. It was her first double-double since July 9, 2025, and the fifth of her WNBA career.
With Bueckers, Shepard and Yueru all reaching double-double territory, Dallas produced three double-doubles in the same game for the first time since July 31, 2018.
Arike Ogunbowale added 17 points and delivered six of Dallas’ final eight. Azzi Fudd finished with 16 points, including a crucial game-tying 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter.
Dallas opened with a 26-20 first-quarter lead before the teams played to a 20-20 draw in the second. The Wings carried a 46-40 advantage into halftime behind Bueckers’ 12 points and Yueru’s productive first-half performance.
Chicago seized control after the break, opening the third quarter with a 12-2 run. The Sky scored 33 points in the period, building a 73-66 advantage entering the fourth.
The Wings responded immediately.
Bueckers scored Dallas’ first six points of the final period as the deficit began to shrink. Fudd later buried a 3-pointer off a Bueckers assist to tie the score at 86. Shepard followed with a driving basket to give Dallas an 88-86 lead as the downtown crowd erupted.
Chicago remained within striking distance, but Ogunbowale supplied the finishing touches. Her late scoring and two free throws with seven seconds remaining secured the victory.
Dallas and Chicago both shot 48 percent from the field, but the Wings held advantages in second-chance points, fast-break scoring and bench production. Dallas also committed only five turnovers.
Sydney Taylor led Chicago with 20 points. Azurá Stevens recorded 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Kamilla Cardoso added 12 points and 13 boards.
The game featured five double-doubles, the most ever in a regulation contest in WNBA history.
Dallas will next host the New York Liberty on Thursday at 8 p.m. CT at College Park Center. The game will air nationally on Prime.
